Mental Health Transformation (MHT) delivers prevention-focused mental health literacy programmes for young people across schools, campuses, and community spaces.
Our programmes are built on one core belief:
Mental health literacy is the foundation of early support, stigma reduction, and long-term wellbeing.
We do not provide clinical treatment.
We equip young people, teachers, and communities with the knowledge, skills, and pathways needed to recognise distress and respond early.
Mental Health Literacy Programme
Our Mental Health Literacy Programme is a structured learning series that equips young people with practical knowledge about emotional wellbeing and mental health.
What students learn:
• understanding emotions and stress
• common mental health conditions
• stigma and harmful myths
• healthy coping strategies
• recognising warning signs
• how and where to seek help
• how to support peers safely
Sessions are delivered through:
• school-based workshops
• tertiary institution programmes
• youth and faith community groups
• hybrid and digital formats
This programme forms the foundation of all our other interventions.

Teacher & Educator Gatekeeper Training
Teachers are often the first adults to notice changes in young people’s behaviour — but most have never been trained to respond safely.
Our Teacher Gatekeeper Training equips educators with:
• basic mental health literacy
• how to identify early warning signs
• trauma-informed classroom practices
• how to listen without judgement
• referral pathways and safeguarding
• crisis response basics
• supporting peer-led initiatives
This training strengthens schools as protective environments and ensures that student support does not depend on one individual.
Peer Mental Health Club
Our Peer Mental Health Clubs create safe spaces where young people:
• practice what they learn
• hold guided discussions
• run wellbeing activities
• challenge stigma together
• support one another safely
• connect with trained teachers
Clubs are supported with:
• leadership training
• structured session guides
• activity toolkits
• monitoring and mentoring
• safeguarding protocols
This programme transforms mental health from a topic into a lived culture.
